Active First Responders

As an active first responder, you routinely encounter situations and responsibilities that are unique to your profession. Through our extensive experience working with individuals across a range of first-responder disciplines, we recognize the cultural expectations, operational demands, and complex environments that shape your daily work. We also understand the cumulative effects that occupational and traumatic stressors can have over time, including challenges related to trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use, moral injury, compassion fatigue, and vicarious trauma.

Our services are designed to support you not only with current concerns, but also in developing sustainable strategies, skills, and tools that promote long-term mental wellness and resilience. In addition to addressing immediate stressors, mental health care for first responders can help enhance emotional regulation, strengthen coping mechanisms, improve team communication, support recovery following critical incidents, and foster overall psychological readiness—both on and off duty.

Our First Responder Mental Health Services are available to all active first responders. Care is provided by Psychologists, Canadian Certified Counsellors, and Registered Psychotherapists. Services are currently offered in English, Punjabi, Urdu, and Hindi.
