Supervision

According to Milne (2007), supervision is “the formal provision by senior/qualified health practitioners of an intensive relationship-based education and training that is case-focused, and which supports, directs, and guides the work of colleagues (supervisees)” (p. 440).

We provide services as an external supervisor for students and professionals doing their hours at other organizations, practices, or practicum placements. Supervisees are responsible for finding their own site to do clinical hours. We provide supervision for the following groups:

  • Practicum students in counseling, psychotherapy, social work, psychology, and related fields (diploma, bachelor’s and master’s level students)

  • Registered Psychotherapists or Registered Psychotherapist Candidates (Ontario only)

  • Independent mental health practitioners seeking additional supervision

Our supervisors meet the requirements for a supervisor for the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario (CRPO). For other designations, students, and professionals, it is the responsibility of the supervisee to ensure that our supervisor meets the requirements necessary for your regulatory bodies or college/university. Please contact us if you need any information from us to help determine this.

Rates for supervision are as follows:

  • Individual Supervision - $220 per hour

  • Dyadic Supervision (pairs of 2) - $120 per hour per person *Note, Dyadic Supervision is temporarily not offered at the moment*

  • Group Supervision (maximum 8 people) - $70 per person (2 hour group) *Note, Group Supervision is temporarily not offered at the moment*

For more details on supervision, please contact us. Please be aware that group supervision is dependent on number of supervisees and will only be offered at select times.
