Spouses of First Responders
We recognize that being the spouse of a first responder brings its own set of unique strengths and challenges. Research indicates that spouses of first responders experience higher rates of mental health concerns compared to the general population. Our services are specifically designed to support spouses who may be navigating these challenges while also managing their own well-being.
These sessions aim to enhance your mental wellness, strengthen self-care skills, reduce feelings of isolation by broadening your support network, and ultimately improve your overall quality of life—and, by extension, the stability of your family. At the same time, you remain in control of the direction of your care. We will work collaboratively with you to establish goals that best align with your individual mental health needs.
These services are delivered by Psychologists, Canadian Certified Counsellors, and Registered Psychotherapists. Services are currently available in English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu.
