Dr. Inverpal Braich
Psychologist & Director of Clinical Operations

  • I was born in Toronto, ON but have moved across several cities and provinces in Canada. From a young age, I have been passionate about the field of mental health and psychology, which has led to a variety of diverse experiences in both fields. I offer over a decade of experience in the mental health sector through educational, volunteer, and work-related experiences. These experiences have involved collaborating with several mental health organizations across North America in various capacities. Through these experiences, I have developed a passion for working with clients in individual, couples, family, and group therapy settings.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing/watching basketball, watching new movies, learning new knowledge, and spending time with my family. I’m also a huge Toronto Raptors fan! Currently, I split my time equally between the beautiful cities of both Calgary, Alberta and Toronto, Ontario depending on the time of year.

  • It is my belief that every client is unique and has diverse needs. My philosophy is to create a collaborative environment where the therapist and client(s) can embrace diversity to work together towards achieving the client’s goals.

While I draw techniques from a variety of different therapeutic approaches, my therapy practice is primarily guided by cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and person-centered therapy. I am also trained in EMDR, the Gottman Method, Brainspotting, iRest Therapy, and several other interventions and approaches.
